QOTD

"I'm going straight to hell....Jesus is going to be like What did you say about my mom?!"

He makes me laugh so hard I cry.  This is why he has my heart.

To Quote Journey....

Being apart ain't easy on this love affair
two stranger left to fall in love again
But I get the joy of rediscovering you
Oh girl, you stand by me
I'm forever yours faithfully

My honey is home for 2 whole weeks!

After spending 1/2 the month of October and all of the month of November ill from virus after virus we have spent the December healthy.  Of course, now that I have 3 vocal rehearsals and 3 vocal performances this weekend we are fighting a cold.

Plenty of fluids, vitamins religiously, and I'll be investing in a nasal cleanser....thingy.

My car is sick too, apparently.  The service engine soon light came on yesterday.  Hopefully it's nothing too expensive.  Just one more thing to stress about.  Ugh.

More importantly (and certainly more exciting and nowhere near as stressful) SEAN GETS HOME TOMORROW NIGHT!!!!  We've seen him twice in the past 8 1/2 months, both times for just a weekend.  He'll be in for 2 whole weeks this time.  And it will only be matter of a few weeks after he goes back that we'll be moving down with him.  YAY.

My littlest monst...I mean angel dumped a bottle of glitter all over.  We now shimmer like disco balls.
The temperature difference today is even better than the 40* difference yesterday (or was it longer ago than that?).  Today it's a balmy 18* at home, compared to 81* at Jax.
Ever seen that episode of Seinfeld where George gets smarter from abstaining but Elaine gets dumber?  I think my brain has shriveled up.
TMI?  Probably.  Sorry.

Is it January yet?

I'm ready to not have my mom interfering with my parenting.
I'm ready to not have to plan my day around when other people will be home.
I'm ready to cook meals that I want, at decent hours.
I'm ready to live in a clean house.
I'm ready to not be a burden.
It is currently 40 degrees warmer at Jax than it is here.
I CAN'T WAIT TO MOVE.
